Sulfate Process Titanium Dioxide

What the Sulfate Process Tells You
At a general industrial level, the sulfate process treats titanium-bearing feedstock with sulfuric acid, followed by further steps that form and finish the TiO₂ pigment. “Sulfate” and “sulphate” are spelling variants for the same process category.
The process label identifies a production route. It does not by itself establish the best Grade, application fit, performance, cost, environmental result or equivalence. Use each Grade's product information and your own formulation or process requirements to decide what to evaluate.
